Two Chickens Tomorrow

    I going to do 2 chickens and I am planning on using Deejay's brining method.
    In the instruction she calls for 1oz of Tender Quick. Is this a brand name or
    is it referring to meat tenderizer. Debbi if your out there, help, or anybody
    else that knows

    Tender Quick is a blend of salt, sugar and other meat curing ingredients formulated for fast cure action and improved flavor and color. It's used for curing and brining. it's made by Morton.
