  1. What is going on SMF?  New member from South Lyon, Michigan ( Ann Arbor area ).  Been grilling all my 35 years of life (at least as far back as i can remember) and only been smoking food for the past 4 years.  I am still a little new to the smoking aspect but my experience has been exponentially increasing the past 2 years.  Currently I own 2 COS, 2 propane grills and a Weber kettle grill.  I am currently in the process of starting a catering and food truck style BBQ business so I can follow my passion for making and serving delicious food.  ;Currently I am trying to get a group of guys together once or twice a month to cook up some food and possibly form a chapter of BBQ Pit Boys. (women are welcome to join too if they enjoy BBQ'in, libations and good times)  Thank you for reading this and good eating to all!!!

It stands for "Order of the Thin Blue Smoke". It is a designation that is bestowed on a member for giving service to other members and the site. I don't really know how they decided to bestow it on me. I'm not anything special.

To read more of the details, go to the forums and click on the community sub-section, then scroll down to the OTBS.

I hope this will give you the information that you want. Joe. :thumb1:
