I am about to build a grill/ smoker and have some parts already, but before i start putting a lot of money in, will my plan work?

    Current Parts-

Noted- The axle will be moved back and the tank will be in circle, not oval.

Design- Let me know if I forgot anything that i need besides gauges.

Would it work having the movable RF plate so that If somebody only wanted to smoke the cabinet they could?

Also, are these gauges good to get? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-550-RWB-B...677?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ed06db28d

Would it be wise to add a drain in the cabinet or it would not do anything?
