I saw at our local SAM's Club a case of 6 butts were .93 a pound.

Wow mossy thats a great price. They never seem to go that low around here. 1.29/Lb is the lowest I have seen them in my area.

We get them here priced as .95 for under 50lbs and .90 for over 50lbs

Amazing how it varies thru out the country. Our "for sale" butts are anywhere from .88 to .99 cents per lb. Got a sale going on right now, but I need to do more to clear out the freezer......fishing season starts today.

At the local Sams Clus by Chicago as long as you buy in bulk (2 or more cases) I have never payed more than .99 cents a pound and have payed as little as .79 cents a pound. Last October I bought 8 cases (16 butts) for our halloween party and the counter price was $1.39 but the butcher only charged me .99 cents. But like FLASH said need to start cleaning out the freezer.
