Learning How To Smoke

Discussion in 'Roll Call' started by smokingjamaican, Jul 2, 2013.

  1. Hi, my name is Bobby Barrett from Miami, Fl. I found this site searching how to make turkey legs. My eyes have been open to a new world of cooking. I have a propane gas grill and a very very old water smoker rusting in backyard. Instead buying a new one I am going to rebuild it will post pics.

But I know I have to step up and buy a productive smoker. I am a Financial Advisor with busy schedule, what do you suggest for a smoker, a set it and forget it type ? But produce great food..and also wont break the bank..Glad to be here.

If you didn't read the Terms of Service notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. Rule #11......"Off Site Links are not allowed here at SMF" is something new. There are other simple guidelines for all of us to remember as we interact here.

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
