So when you start your coals for the drum, do you do just like normal & use a chimney starter & then dump them in the basket in the bottom. Or do you just get some coals started & then stack fresh coals on top of the burning coals. What about using these...

Could you just put one of those in the bottom of a stack of fresh coals & light it & that's it?

One other question....if you use the webber lid, does it make a good seal, or do you have smoke & heat coming from around the lid?

Really got tired of bending over to cover the air holes. Will probably look really close to your ugly thing, but without the rust spot on the front!

No, i use a basket on the first model, put in about 8# charcoal and some wood with a pit in the center, lite about 20 briquete's in a chimney and dump those in the middle, put on lid and start adjustment's!
