I live in O'fallon Mo. The wife got me a Dyna Glo offset smoker for Christmas, today is the second time I've used it, liking it so far! It seems that with a full box of charcoal I can hold a 225 temp for two hours but then it drops off and I have to add coals, is this a normal problem? Thanks!!

Great present from your wife! Welcome to SMF! Weather will have an effect on your smoker temp. Even in Florida we feel the effects on a cold day.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a pretty nice day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
