Hello from Massachusetts

I started smoking meat for the first time this past winter - a friend recieved a smoker for Christmas and we smoked almost every weekend in the cold and snow. I got my smoker, a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker 40, a few weeks ago. I bought the electric model so I can easily transport it and reviews say it works very well in the cold winter weather because it is insulated. I also bring it to my friend's house and we can get alot of food smoking at one time.

My name is Chuck and I was born and bred in NE and love to play alot of hockey. I have found the information in these forums very useful and look forward to learning alot more in the near future!!!!

DINGLE - I am a hugh Bruins fan and a season ticket holder for the Providence Bruins. I live only 20 minutes from Providence. I also still play hockey 2 -3 times a week in the winter. Old man leagues as my kids call them now!!!!

Abelman - I am not a fan of Bluefish but I often go fishing for Stripers. Have you got a good recipe for Blues or Stripers??
