I would like to say thank you to Tasunka for bringing to my attention the warranty and customer service of my Brinmann SnP. Yes, it did peel like everyone said it would, but what everyone did not mention is they will take care of that.
I bet it will peel again if i just swap it out, but really, who is going to do that. I now have a second firebox coming that will be the attachment for my 55 gallon drum when i find one.

To sum it up, brinkmann is sending me BRAND NEW the following:

Part Number 600-3044-6 #34 FIREBOX BASE Qty Ordered: 1
Part Number 600-3044-1 #25 FIREBOX LID Qty Ordered: 1
Part Number 600-3044-0 #24 FIREBOX LID STOP Qty Ordered: 1
Part Number 600-3044-8 #8 FIREBOX SUPPORT Qty Ordered: 1

To brinkmann for taking care of their product even though they should have made one better in the first place(but cmon, i did only spend 158.00 on it, so im okay with it not up to horizon status).[IMG][IMG]:pDT _Armataz_01_34:[IMG]

Hey good for you~congrats. And a big thumbs up to Brinkmann, just like you did for keeping the customer happy. That's good business.

on my first actual smoke the rest of the firebox also started peeling all over. i emailed them asking about this but haven't checked yet for replies. even so, i am assuming they will stand by it and replace the firebox, for which i am grateful.

since then, i'e learned the "rub it in oil or crisco" trick, but i figure a spare firebox is a good thing to have.

Don't forget the high-heat primer. That's what makes the finish coat bond.
