Hi All,

I did some searching but couldn't find a definitive recommendation, so . . .

Can anyone recommend a brand, model and source for a good dial thermometer to install in the smoke chamber of my Char-Griller Smoking Pro?

The thermometer has to be adjustable. Ideally, it would also have a 3" dial that is easy to read from a distance and have stainless steel construction with about a 2" stem.

I will also be using remote digital thermometer probes in the meat and smoke chamber, but wanted a mechanical thermometer permanently mounted to the smoke chamber, too.

Thanks!

I have this one in my cgsp. Got it from wally world for $15. Had it for over three years now and still works good. Isn't adjustable though.

Tel Tru! They make excellent bbq thermos in several sizes and $. I have a couple, both
model BQ300 3" dial and 4" stem.

Can I lay this one inside my smoker on one of the racks. I have tried the ones that you mount outside and dont like them. I want to put on in the smoker and when I open it up (very little so I don't lose temp) for putting more water or wood in or to mop I can take a quick look at what the temp is like inside the smoker.
