Beef Tenderloin to smoke or not?

    I have a couple of whole Tenderloins marinating in the fridge....do i need to wrap them in bacon? or can i just do them without? i dont want them dry...any advice?

    Not sure you "need" to but isn't everything better with bacon [​IMG] and it would pretty much assure you that it wouldn't dry out

    What temp doneness are you looking for?
    If medium or up I would say definitely bacon, if med-rare to rare you wouldn't need it but as Piney said...

    Like piney said what doesn't go good with bacon. But no you don't need it unless you want it.
