Hi to all
I have used this supplier when I was working in the plastics industry. They have very good prices. The wire you are looking for is type TGGT. The supplier is Plastic Process Equipment. PPE.com.
The page you need is http://www.ppe.com/11cat/0738.pdf
They also have other nice items in...
For cutting small and medium tree limbs I have an electric chain saw that I bought for this purpose. I use vegetable oil on the bar. The saw was cheap enough and I have not had any problems. I use plum wood, from my storm damaged tree.
Hey SmokinAl, I agree with you except I do use a scraper to knock off the loose chunks, don't want them falling off onto my food.
Fire393 .... I like to use a new razor blade, fast and easy.
While I am at it, I don't see any adjustable air inlet on the firebox. You could put one on the back side opposite the door or on the bottom.
Again Good Luck and please don't forget update pictures.

I have a question. The opening between the firebox and the main chamber, is it going to be full open or do you plan to put an adjustable door there to help control the heat output.
Good Luck looks nice

I have been using plum since last winter when an ice storm wrecked my plum tree. I have used it for pork butt, salmon and cheese. I have also taken limbs on my table saw to make saw dust for my cold smoker, that too has worked well for me.
good luck
