West Fargo, ND / Northern MN
Well I post this with a heavy heart tonight. There has been some very bad storms that went through this area today and several people have lost their lives because of it. There were some bad storms here in Fargo, ND today but in the surrounding areas there were some really  bad tornado's that claimed several hard working peoples lives. Its hard to post this Qview when I know the people in the area that I grew up and also went to college were hit hard by bad storms. 5 miles to the west of where I grew up there was a bad tornado that went through a small town and took out the gas station where several people were seaking shelter and one to two people were killed near Mentor, MN and also near Wadena, MN where I went to college and we have a family farm a tornado ripped through the town and reaked havock and a couple of lives were taken. The town was hit very hard. So it was hard for me to try and keep up with news and smoke a turkey for my neighbor. I was going to brine the bird but I didn't because it was already prebrined at the factory. I decided to inject with butter, garlic/onion powder, Bad Byron's Butt Rubb and pepper. I put it on the smoker at around 275-300 and took it to 270 internal temp. It looks great but I didn't taste it because it was given to me by my neighbor to smoke because they where cleaning out their freezer. It looks great and I can't wait to hear what they say. I was smoking it on my UDS and here is the Qview.

I hope they love the smoked Turkey. They usually drool when I smoke food so I am guessing they will love this bird.

So sorry to hear of the bad storms and loss of life.. sending my thoughts and prayers to family and friends of those who were lost.

Yeah, our concerns were for those in Minnesota & those tornado's that blew through there.  I rarely if at all, understand the climatic conditions of Earth's weather but our prayers go out to those lost in the carnage & for you to stay safe & out of harm's way.  God bless your heart for helping as you can.

I heard about those storms.  That's a bad situation to be in.  Nice of you to cook that bird, and it looks great!

We wish we could help you and your friends with anything. I'm really sorry for the lost of life and homes and all too. It's really nice that you are helping out with some food for those who are hurt and now have nothing. So tell them that they are in our prays and best wishes go out to you and all that were affected.

Saw some hints of this on the news.

Prayers are on the way to the whole area.
