Hi everyone.
I have a noob question.
I will have my first smoke on my WSM tomorrow. I am just getting prepped tonight. I will be smoking a beer can chicken and a couple slabs of pork ribs. Should I place the chicken on the top grate and the ribs below on the bottom or the other way around. I just want to make sure I am careful with food contamination.

Thanks so much-
Austin

Chicken on bottom, always, when smoking other stuff. Don't want the nasty poultry juice drippin on the meat - that's where the cross-contamination comes in.
