I have graduated from an ECB to a Chargriller with side box. I can easily get hickory or mesquite wood chips or chunks. I live in NE PA in the heart of the hard coal region. It seems that white birch trees LOVE to grow in the coal dirt left over from strip mining. Can seasoned white birch wood be used in a smoker?
Has anyone used white birch wood? If you did how did it go?

Thanks in advance.
