Wild Rice Casserole

    Don't want to take away from your soup recipe at all.
    You know that Man. Just sharin the Wild Rice Love. :)

    You folks in the 365 summer might not like this but this is FANTASTIC Winter Comfort Food.

    1 CUP Uncooked Wild Rice - SOAK Rice OVERNIGHT in Bowl of Water

    1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
    1 Large Can of Sliced Mushrooms (drained)
    2 Beef Bouillon Cubes IN 1 CUP BOILING WATER
    1 Crumbled Bay Leaf
    1/4 TSP EACH of Celery Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder
    SAUTE IN BUTTER - 3/4 Cup Chop CELERY AND One Small Chopped Onion
    1 1/2 - 2 LBS Ground Beef - Browned and Drained.
    1/2 Cup Slivered Almonds

    Put ALL in large casserole and bake COVERED for 1 1/2 HRS. @ 350*
    (OR Cook in Crock Pot)

    Add More Beef Stock if it gets dry (Can Freeze before baking)

    no prob V, the WILD RICE is breakin out today!!!!! for all the sausage makers out there the latest rage last couple years has been wild rice venison summer sausage.

    Dude -
    Sausage w some Wild Rice is AWESOME!

    I had a homemade Bohemian Blood Sausage w Wild Rice and I'm pretty sure something else good happened.

    It was terriffic. It's called Jiternice.
