whole pig - luau style - tips needed

    hey, hey -

    a lady at work is going to throw a luau and asked if anyone knew how to do a pig in a pit. naturally, i printed out the "whole hog" section of the BBQ FAQ and gave it to her, i also said i would ask around for any pointers, advice etc.

    so, if anyone has anything to add to what the FAQ says, please let me know. if i am able to attend, i will of course get some good q-view!

    Well....I cook them in an underground pit. It's not exactly luau style, no banana leaves or lava rocks.
    I bury the larger hogs overnight and cook the smaller ones all day. Let me know if you are interested. :)
