I opened my GOSM and found my coffe can wood box actually on fire. First time this has happened. Had water in the pan and temp was holding well. There are no holes in this coffee can, just cut down to fit. Just wonder if anyone else has had this problem, or was it just a fluke?

cajun_1 I've been using a bread loaf pan and have had the same problem with fire flares. I have been putting the lid from one of my long cast boxes in it to curb the problem, but it still flares occasionally. Haven't came up with a solid solution yet. I am going to make a better fitting lid with smaller holes. When I have the time to get it done I'll post a pic or two.

You might try to putting holes around the outside of the can and make a lid with holes. I'm sure someone else has had this problem and already came up with a good answer. Good Luck
