Which model MES

I see all the different model #s mentioned when it comes to MES. I used a friends this weekend (MES 40) and it seemed to work well.  I would definitely invest in the smoker tube though.

Wanting to get a new MES, can someone clarify all the discussion on model #s?

Checkout the big MES 40 BT thread.  Lots of useful info there.  This is Masterbuilt's latest model.  Im very happy with mine (albeit some serious flaws).

It depends on how big a smoker you want and how much you're willing to spend on bells and whistles. I own a basic MES 30 Gen 1 and I use the A-MAZE-N Pellet Smoker inside it. I'd like to have more internal cooking space but my smoker is easy and fun to use and the AMNPS puts out all the smoker I need over 11 or so hours.
