Used to get the gout really bad. Doctor finally put me on Allonpurinol. I have not had a flare since. Granted its a daily med for the rest of my life that I started age 37 but it has been so nice.

I suffer from the "gouch" myself but it has been quite some time since a flare. Wish I knew what I changed to make it stop.
