I called the butcher today to find out if the pork belly I had ordered 1.5 weeks ago was ready. He had forgot about again. So the price has gone from $1.99 lbs to $1.50 lbs. Since this was his mess up he said if it wasn't ready by Friday, he was going to give me a free Prime Rib Roast. He is also giving me Hams (hind legs) for 88 cents a pound. I will need quite a few legs for the Sausage I will be making next week (160 lbs). I will get about 10lbs of it for myself, the rest is for the people I work with and some relatives. (Man, I should get a small business licence and start something here)
