Anyone have any experience with the Vevor motorized stuffer? I'm looking for a motorized stuffer that will hold 25 pounds plus and while I've had good luck with LEM products I just can't bring myself to dump $1000 on a stuffer. I'm having a hard time even thinking about replacing my old Enterprise stuffer but after stuffing 50 pounds yesterday in 32mm casings my right elbow isn't feeling to good today, guess I'm getting to old to crank a stuffer with one hand while filling cases with the other.

On a side note I did score 80 pounds of boneless pork butt for $.46 a pound at the Chef Store on Friday, 75% off as the best by date was Saturday though I kind of negated my meat score when I walked into Costco and saw the LEM #22 1hp Dual Grind Big Bite grinder for the same price I was seeing the LEM 3/4hp grinder for. A buddy was happy to get my old LEM #8 575 grinder. O man the LEM #22 is quiet compared to the 575 and it sure makes quick work of grinding pork and beef.

Vevor stuff has become pretty popular around here. I reckon they work as advertized, but warranty claims and ease of getting replacement parts may be a sticking point.

Good luck on finding an upgrade. No experience with any of the Vevor line of products.

I have a similar cast iron stuffer. I love that unit for 8# batches, but not so much for smaller test batches as the under swept elbow and stuff tube leaves more behind than I want to stuff.
Looking at a jerky gum for small batches.

I noticed that the Vevor has a big discharge port as well, one guy on YouTube stated the stuffer left almost a pound of product between the port and stuff left in the bottom of the canister. My Enterprise leaves around a half pound. I suppose if I wanted to do the bread trick I could get most of the product stuffed.

I have the Vevor 11lb horizontal stuffer. It works well with no issues. My only complaint is in the finsh. Most edges are sharp.

I get about a 1/2 pound from stuffer.
The bread trick does not work in the stuffer. I use my fingers to push it into the elbow. I use the next smaller size tube with a plastic wrap condom to empty the tube. The remainder makes a good test patty

I have had a Vevor 22" electric flattop for a few years now that I just love. I just got the chamber vacuum sealer that happy with so far. If you do need support that might be a problem?

I can believe how much Vevor makes. I am searching for a reasonably priced VFD for the metal lathe in my shop, took a chance, wouldn't you know it, Vevor makes a 10hp phase converting VFD.😳

Definitely keeping an eye on this thread to see how the stuffer looks.

I have had very good luck with vevor products. Automotive, solar, and now sausage. I have the 7lbs manual and it works amazing. Did have very good time with their tech support and warranty, turned out it was my fault and they replaced it anyway after they figured out it was my fault. Good company to work with and good products to this point.

I'm trying to get the piston gasket replaced, we'll see. I did order a 2 pack of gaskets from Smokehouse Chef, others might carry them but Smokehouse had the only decent pic showing the gasket for me to compare.

Tomorrow is the stuffers madin voyage, was going to be today but it's supposed to rain / snow tonight so I'm raking leaves and hanging Christmas lights. Ya me.

Wow this stuffer is cool, makes stuffing cases easy and very fast. Should have purchased one years ago. Not sure what I'm going to do with my old Enterprise stuffer but I don't seem me using it again.

The Vevor stuffer stuffed about 50 pounds of potato sausage into 32mm hog casing without an issue. Here are my observations below.

  1. Cylinder holds around 25 pounds of product.
  2. I had about 1/4 inch of product left in the bottom of the cylinder, limit switch wasn't reached to shut down the motor and I could see the cylinder flexing. This might be due to the consistency of the potato sausage.
  3. The motor is not slow, well when your waiting for the saft to travel to it's up position it seems slow but when stuffing 1/3 turn of the speed dial was all I wanted for speed. I bet this thing will fill 1 pound burger chubs in about a second with a big stuffing tube on it.
  4. The gasket and air bleeders need removed when cleaning up. I had juice under the gasket and meat under the air bleed seat and on the spring.
  5. The stuffer is heavy and kind of a pain to carry around, plus it's top heavy.
  6. The cylinder falling all the way back when filling it is a pain but I have a plan for that.
  7. Motor stayed cool and smooth, but then again it's hard to heat up a motor when it takes just a couple minutes to stuff a casing off a full hank. Took me longer to put the casing on the stuffer tube then it did to run it off.
All in all for $370 I am happy, I've never used any other stuffer besides my Enterprise stuffer so I have nothing to compare the Vevor to but I can't imagine what another $400 to $600 dollars for another brand is getting me.

Parts could be an issue, it appears that most of these stuffers use the same parts but I have yet to find a web site that lists them out as well as LEM and I am not sure LEM parts fit this stuffer.

The wife just informed me that none of our pillow cases open up big enough to slide over the stuffer so my easy stuffer cover idea is a bust.

Wow
I like potato sausage, but 50# would last me years

Wish I was closer to check out the full motion and limit switch issue.

Parts? Contact Smokehouse Chef and let them do the homework for you. Maybe it will be something they want to add to their product line.
Forgot about them, but I will be ordering knifes for my Weston grinder from them. Better prices and updated design compared to Weston
