I found the best way to seal liquids is to freeze them first in some kind of a dish or pan, then knock them out of it and seal them using the food saver. That way you don't have to worry about the liquid being suck out of the bag. Oh by the way, I got mine off of e-bay about 5 years ago fo 20.00 and it still works fine.

The food saver brand is the only way to go. I got mine earlier this year and love it. I got mine at kohl's and it came with canisters and a jar sealer. It was only like $80 bucks. I use it all the time. I buy burger and steaks and ribs and such in bulk then break them into smaller portions and vac seal them. I reuse the bags as much as I can. If your vacing juice thawed meat one trick is to use a paper towel to hold back the juices. The canisters are great for marinating. Makes it quick and easy. 20 mins of being vac sealed is the same as over night sitting in a bowl in the fridge.
