Two cooks in the house?

The wife just asked to learn how to use the gas grill...She's been following me in and out watching...we're starting with basic hamburgers today. She made the patties, seasoned, and threw a small piece of hickory on for a little smoke, even buttered the buns to toast 'em.

No ego here...I'll gladly let her start cooking more. Up til now she's been an eater only. She went part-time at work, and wants to start helping with the cooking a bit more. !!!!!!!!SCORE!!!!!!!!!

Good wife you got there. My wife says if I will do the smoking she will clean up, since I work so hard at it. (I keep he spritzer bottle handy to make sure it looks like I am working hard when she isnt looking)

My wife has charge of "her kitchen", I have charge of my outside cookery... 'cept I do use hers quite often, but she won't touch mine for some reason. I'd love it if she would take an interest in the smokin' and grillin' side of things!

Burgers turned out good. I think next she's gonna try a few ribeyes...She told me the smoker's all mine...she don't wanna fool with it.
