Has anyone seen any posts or mods where someone has taken the Triton Vertical Smoker from Academy Sports and then chopped the fire box off, flipped the cooking chamber horizontally and reattached the fire box?

The reason I ask is I’m thinking that’s what I’m going to do to mine. The vertical thing doesn’t work for me and the diameter of the cook chamber makes it difficult for larger cuts. The smoke stack on it now is in a good spot to be in the middle of the chamber when turned horizontally and then I would just build a new smoke stack with a 90 degree bend.

Im also open to any suggestions and thoughts!
