what do you guys pay for tri tip? the tri tip has eluded me for years untill i finaly found one very pricey i thought but the rave reviews and the rareity where i live i could not pass it up it was $6.99 a lb here.gonna try just a Salt and cbp.Hope it comes out as good as they look on here

Most expensive around here is Around 5$ per lb. just got it on sale for 1.97$ per pound. but id probably still pay 6.99. Its that good.

That's about the going price out here in CA.
They are frequently on sale for $2.99 a lb so that's usually the only time I buy them.
