For reference, today is week 4.14 of the estimated "shipping in 3-4 weeks" announcement made on 9/10. Still no shipping notification. We ordered a 4 probe set. If I'm a betting man, I am guessing single probe orders have a higher priority. I get it (I don't like it). But that's 4 happy customers vs 1 grumpy old dude.
I am in the same boat with you (4 probe set) - at least we get a free case :emoji_sunglasses:

I’m not going to say that it is now week 4.57 without a Thermoworks…I won’t do it.

In a related note, I was relegating to cooking the Friday night surf and turf using the (un)trusty ol’ Signals….like a peasant.

I'm hearing over on Reddit that there are folks who placed pre-orders they day RFX was announced (7/22) and still have not received their orders. Others who ordered on that day have gotten them in within the last couple of days (and they are having software/firmware problems...hope that's a one off issue). So I'm guessing our order placed on 8/7 isn't coming any time soon. Below is the response to my recently weekly update request. If they could give a more tangible ETA, I would stop bothering them each week. But I don't know what "some time" means. Seems like a production schedule bounced off of an order backlog is simple math.

"We have started shipping as of last Tuesday, October 8th! We are going down the list from the first orders to the last, so it will still be some time before everything is fully shipped out, but at this point as soon as it leaves production we are getting it shipped to the next customer in line."

I found this thread looking to see if anyone has received their RFX probes yet. I placed my order for the single probe kit about an hour after pre-orders went live. Still haven't received it or even an email saying it has shipped. Since I ordered it so early, I was thinking mine would be one of the ones shipped out the first week or at least the second week. It's going on week three of shipping with no word which is making me wonder what is going on.

Me too. Preordered 7/22. Got this response today:
Thank you for checking in with us. Your order has yet to be ready and has yet to ship. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email with your tracking information.
We officially began shipping RFX on October 7th. Full production is well underway, and we’re fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. Each order will be shipped in the order in which we received it. In this initial phase of shipping, we’re expecting to ship modest quantities this week, with much higher numbers beginning next week.
Unfortunately, I have no visibility regarding the numbered spot you are in. We just take the bulk of orders and start from the oldest first. We ship everything production has for us daily.

Hard to believe our order hasn’t come up yet. It’s beginning to look like I might have to put up with Meater a while longer:emoji_angry:

I'm ok with their response up until the part about having no visibility on order position. That IMO, is BS.
Agreed. And I'm not calling for the pitchfork crowd to storm the castle. But I do wish they would acknowledge a botched new product release and offer more detail. I don't care about the specific problem (as long as they feel they can overcome it). I just want a viable timeline. If they truly have no information on their own production schedule that can be overlayed with their own order backlog, that points to a bigger problem within their organization. But knowing the quality of work that Tworks has produced in the past, my hypothesis is that there is either a delay/stop with an unknown solution or large enough that they feel announcing would open the floodgates on a cancel/refund.

Yes, - Not only that but when I chatted with CS they told me that they are designed in USA and manufactured in China and they are waiting for another shipment -- slow boat from China delayed in customs held up by bureaucracy...... Sooo who knows when we will see them. They also gave me the option to cancel my order.

Well, it happened. I received an email this afternoon saying my order shipped. Checked the tracking and as of 6:30 pm MDT only the label has been created and is awaiting carrier pickup, but at least it's on its way now!

I'm still so curious as to what is/was going on with this roll out.

I receiving mine on Wednesday so shipping was super fast once it finally shipped.

I know this thread is about shipping so I won't stray too far off topic, but just wanted to say it looks like a quality product you would expect from Thermoworks, and when I tested it in an ice bath and boiling water it was spot on with my thermopen. One concern I do have is the battery on the receiver. It arrived charged to 60% and after charging it for about 18 hours it only got to 86%. I'll be doing a long cook this weekend to test it out and will pay attention to how fast the battery drains then try to recharge it again. Maybe I'll start a new thread on Monday to discuss my experience using it for an actual cook.

Hope you all receive your orders soon.

Update on mine. Again, the frustration has been the less than detailed response on ETA. This I can work with:

Ordered on 8/7/24:

Dear RFX Customer,

We are pleased to advise you that your RFX pre-order will be shipping very soon. Several thousand units have already been sent to customers and more are shipping every day. We continue to fulfill orders in the order in which they were received.

We appreciate that you ordered so soon after our launch announcement and apologize for the delays. We simply pre-sold many more units than we had projected.

We anticipate that your order SO-XXXXXXX will ship by 11/5/2024. You will receive an email as soon as it departs the warehouse. Before then, you can expect a weekly update on Friday.

New orders are now being quoted 4 to 5 weeks delivery time, down from 6 to 8 weeks. We expect this delivery time to drop further over the next couple weeks.

Thanks again for your patience! We know you will be pleased with RFX.

Finally received ours. Got everything paired up, looks typical TWorks quality. Gateway charging, looks it may take a while.
Will report back when I hit some heat using it.
