Got my new grill all out together today! Went with the Pit Boss Austin XL. Love the cooking area, hopper space and open flame option. Quite the upgrade from my Traeger Lil Tex 22. First Pit Boss I’ve had and already love it! Just in time for cheese season.

I'm just an old roughneck who worked & live in that part of Oklahoma/Texas many moons ago. Got an amazing Aussie/Blue healer pup from a guy who lived in Slapout so I've actually been there more than once. Used to dove hunt just North of Slapout.

Leave it unplugged and use a pellet tube to smoke your cheese, no heat required and you might melt it.

IDK? Dad was supposed Blue Heeler and the mother was an Australian Shepard. Mom & pup were both fantastic animals. I think we'll just call it a Slapout Heeler! It's one of those dogs I will always miss
