I joined this forum a few days ago and have spent a great deal of time reading the posts from all you other members.

I have learned so much in such a short amount of time and to think, I thought I knew how to smoke!

Fatties, ABT's, smoking implements I didn't even know existed abound in these posts.

The members willingness to share recipes, even those 'secret recipes' and the 'if I tell ya I'll have to kill ya' recipes amazes me.

The different methods of smoking, the woods used, the times and temperatures, so willingly shared. It makes me glad to be a member of such a fine group and I hope that over time, I will be able to contribute what little I know to others.

Thanks again for allowing me to join.

Georgepat, You have found the secret that makes Smoking Meat Forum the place that it is-Members willingness to share- be it recipes, techniques or ideas. Our Board Founder, tulsajeff had an idea of a place where folks could come and learn and to share what they know, thus far, I'd say his idea is a resounding success. Jeff keeps busy running other website but he still drops by now and again to offer comments and suggestions. He knows that this forum is in great shape mainly because of the quality of the people it attracts.
