Well, I've been invited by a buddy of mine to help him break in his new pull behind 24' camper. I'm taking the backpack and tent as he'll have the fam-damily with him. However, I'll be taking my own pickup so I thought I'd take the GOSM with me and a couple pork shoulders and maybe a brisket. At last head count, there were going to be about 8 of us all showing up in the mountains just north of the Colorado/Wyoming border. I've never had a 'portable' smoker before, but I think this will travel pretty well. Gonna take all the loose stuff out of it, and lay it over (gotta help Betsy keep her svelt aerodynamics so I can get that awesome 12 GPM or is it MPG??). Anyway, I'll try to take some pics and you hams keep yer ears open during the evenings in the 6 and 10 meter ranges (lowest freqs my ft-8900 will get).
