Well folks its a balmy 17 below zero taday with a 100% chance of pork butts.

Taday's smokin report was brought ta you by Hiemy's diner, grain mill, mortuary an byproducts co. Our motto "We'll feed ya till ya die"!

So it's a nother brisk day here in the holler, had a pork butt layin round so figure might as well get that done. Sides, stock is gettin low!

Shop sure is startin ta smell real good all the time now!

You're nuts. It's freezing out. Just heard the weather report. No shot of getting above 10 degrees in the entire 10 day forecast. I actually drove the kids the 10 houses away to the bus stop this morning. -24* wind chills is dangerous, but of course they're soft.

Listening to all the sports guys down in Miami reporting for the Hawks at the Orange Bowl all complaining about the 40* temps their having. Now that's soft. But I guess it's all relative.

Now we are getting a weather reports for the record books. Ok I take back all the how great the weather is here in Sunny Florida is. The weather has taken a turn for the great north tundra it is now a high of 48 and this is what the high is for the rest of the week YES the rest of the week. the lows are down in the low 20's with a chance of frozen people running around here too. So I will never say anything about your weather any more.






Aleast till it gets back up to you know 60's or something like thats.

I hear on the news that from the east side of the Rockies eastward to the Atlantic, everyone is COLD or colder.
Every one who comes through the Pacific North West remembers how it's always raining. Still is folks. I'll keep my raincoat, thank you. Change the song from "Dancing in the Rain" to "Smoking in the Rain". That's why we have blue tarps.
