I wanted a simple project while I work out temp control and future mods to the new Char-Griller Trio.I figured smoked meatloaf would be perfect,my wife mixed up the basic meatloaf I used Cowboy Lump charcoal for the heat and Mesquite for the smoke son told me next time I have to go back to hickory. Smoked at 240 deg. for about 4.5 hrs at 150 deg I gave it a good mopping with Jeff's sauce off at 160 deg

good lookin' meatroaf!

great job, but why's you son saying you need to switch back to hickory?
I usually will add a meatloaf when I am doing butts for pulled pork and always use hickory and apple he prefers it that way Telling me to save the Mesquite for the chuckies and briskets.
