Sunday chicken leg quarters Qview

  1.  Wanted a quick dinner since I was working earlier today. Dillons 10lb pack of quarters, pecan wood, and malted beverages. The picture tells it all. Was tasty!!!

    Congrats on some dynamite looking quarters!  What temp did you smoke at?
  3. Smoked at about 270F. I ran it up to about 300F at the end the crisp the skin a bit more.

    Look great.

    I would guess 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

  11. OH WOW!!!!! Those look outstanding.

    If that yard bird tastes like it looks, you had a fine meal.
  12. Nice lookin' yard bird. I need to do some "test runs" for high temps on my smoker to do chicken with crispy skin.

    I'm hungry for some yardbird now.............
