Split Chicken QView

    I was going through smoking withdrawal the past few weeks and today I picked up a split fryer to smoke.

    Started with garlic powder, Cajun seasoning and Cayenne pepper. Smothered both sides and tossed them in rib cage down.
    Start time:12:00 smoker temp 250° with mix of mesquite and hickory
    12:20/probe temp=45°
    12:45/probe temp=79°
    2:30/probe temp=156°
    3:40/probe temp=170°

    Plenty of smoke flavor, no mesquite next time though.[​IMG]
