New member, long time smoker. I always "smoked" with a weber until a few years ago I was lucky enough for a friend to gift me a custom built oil drum smoker. Unfortunately this year brought us more rain than usual and it's rusted on the inside. I've searched this forum on how to clean it, but it's beyond my capabilities. Is there anyone in the LA area that would be willing to help and has experience? I've called every "bbq repair" place in socal but nobody knows how to deal with this. Appreciate it.

For flakes I would use what 5grill posted then do a really good burn out with wood.
