I have a 5 pound sirloin tip that I'd like to smoke tomorrow. It is kind of round... not flat like a brisket. I wonder how it will come out. What's the internal temp necessary to come out medium rare? Does anyone know if a sirloin tip roast is tender or tough?

I think you'll find around here that Sirloin Tips are called tri-tips. Try a search for that that, and you'll find tons of info. I'm no expert in this area, so I'll let someone else comment on specifics. But this should get you started until they come by.
