While shopping for some meats two weeks ago I passed by the cans of spam and I threw one in the cart. I don't normally even eat spam but I thought what the heck...It didn't get a nice crust around it like a fatty, I assume from lack of fat, but it did taste good! It was a little salty, but definitely better than any other method I've had it...

Spam is pork, If I recall, the name "SPAM" stands for for Shoulder Pork and Ham. The Hormmel Co. does make a smoked version of Spam.
