Last night I tried making a meatloaf in my Kamado Joe. It had a bit of Texas twist because the glaze on top was made with brown sugar and BBQ sauce. It was pretty darn good, even my grandkids ate it. Hey Mikey!

One recommendation: I used only lump charcoal and the smoke was very subtle. Next time I will add a handful of soaked wood chips to the hot coals.

The recipe is here: Smoked Meatloaf with Brown Sugar and BBQ Sauce Glaze

Looks delicious! I love smoked meat loaf and usually make it a couple times a month.

I've been around here since 2010 and did my first smoked meat loaf after learning of it here on SMF. Never cooked another in the oven since then.
