    Unpossible.!

You can never burn them out on beer butt chickens... chicken quarters.. turkey legs.. brisket.. featherbones.. ribs.. butts.. fattys.. meatloaf.. etc.. etc..

Since we got the smoker 5 weeks ago, I think I have used it 10 times. Can't get burnt out on BBQ!

I'm pretty new at this and I am not sure you can have BBQ burnout. I guess if you have the same exact thing every time you might get bored with it.

Change the meat, rub, sauce, or any other aspect of the cook and you have something new and exciting. Try a different filling for a fatty, or even use some veg. I hear smoked cabbage is good, I grilled one once with good results.

Heck you might even grill instead of smoke. There is a whole culinary experience to be had with cooking over live fire whether direct or indirect. Be creative and have fun with it.

If all else fails and the family does grow weary, give me a call and I'll join ya.

I sure wouldn't have a problem with it. It'll be your call, you sure can judge things after the first feed this weekend.

  6. I agree with TMW....mix it up a little. I use my Chargriller for grilling more than smoking. It grills GREAT!! Gotta love those cast iron grates. [IMG]

My fiance told me about 3 weekends ago "no smoked meat this weekend"...
Instead, I smoked corn on the cob, eggplant, squash, asparagus and peppers.
    I grilled the ribeyes...

Smoked foods... Too much is never enough..

  8. Sure why not , I'm smoking again this weekend. My 2nd beer butt chicken. will send q-view soon[IMG]

  9. Variety is the key. If you are doing ribs or pulled pork one week, do chicken or fish or a brisket next week.

Also remember that the combination of rub, mop, sauce, and woods all contribute to a particular flavor. Changing or eliminating these will produce different results even with the same meat.

You could also look at it from the standpoint that there is no such thing as too often!

    My 2 cents

Long and short of it. YES! As long as they liked it... just mix up the meats and the seasonings. Lamb is REALLY good with a light smoke!

    Yea,you could. they could.
for most of the last 30 years 90% of the meals cooked at home were on the grill.
when I am at work the kids call and say mama made lasanga with out meat..mama made fried egg plant and made us eat it..come home and fire up hooters Dad..and I do..
I have not been burnt out yet and the family loves it still..[IMG]

When we're home (darn kids sports schedules) we'll use the smoker as much as possible during the summer (no a/c in the house), and it also makes an awesome grill for them weekday dinners.

If the family will eat what you make go ahead. As a lot have said, try and mix it up.
