Remember the $4.00 per bag of RO at Walmart thread I posted a few days ago. Well I just happened to be in there tonight and thought I would help them clear out their stock.

I think this will last me a little while.

That's a great score! I still have 6 20-lb bags of lump to go through, but I can store no more than that out of the weather, since there's no garage or shed. I have one of those extra-large wheeled trash bins they used to use for rural pickup. THey discontinued using them and told me to keep it. That's my semi-portable charcoal storage device.

Nice score! Way back, several years ago, when wallyworld was clearing out an all natural charcoal briquette product called Nature's Own (I think that was the name, similar to the more recent OCC Rancher), they had about 3/4 of a pallet left all marked down to $3.00 per bag. Offered 'em $1.00 per bag if I took all they had left... they accepted... Never hurts to ask! I tend to over buy sometimes! :)
