When I seen Sam's,
zwiller
post Schwenkbraten it had to go to the top of the list. Come up with ingredients I wanted to use. Got them from Hey Girl.
1 whole yellow onions cut into thin strips
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 dried juniper berries crushed
2 cloves garlic roughly chopped
2 teaspoons stone ground mustard
1 teaspoons smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon Grand masala
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
I added spices to onions and used my hands to crush them in than added oil. Covered both sides of pork than vacuum sealed. Have I told you how much I love that chamber sealer. Let sit a few days.
Scrapped onions off and Ready for the grill.
5 minutes one side and 4 the other.
Man these where good! I was a bit worried bout being over seasoned but not at all. Fact they could of used more. Got a nice medium well. Doctored up some canned German Potato Salad and jar of Red Cabbage. These are going to be a regular now. Thanks Sam!
