When I seen Sam's, zwiller zwiller post Schwenkbraten it had to go to the top of the list. Come up with ingredients I wanted to use. Got them from Hey Girl.

1 whole yellow onions cut into thin strips
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 dried juniper berries crushed
2 cloves garlic roughly chopped
2 teaspoons stone ground mustard
1 teaspoons smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon Grand masala
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

I added spices to onions and used my hands to crush them in than added oil. Covered both sides of pork than vacuum sealed. Have I told you how much I love that chamber sealer. Let sit a few days.

Man these where good! I was a bit worried bout being over seasoned but not at all. Fact they could of used more. Got a nice medium well. Doctored up some canned German Potato Salad and jar of Red Cabbage. These are going to be a regular now. Thanks Sam!

Fine looking meal Brian. This one's on my list also waiting for the next project steak sale. That Reads German potato salad is good stuff.

Looks great Brian! Agree, regular for me too. I am gonna play around with various spice mixes. I watched some german YT vids about it and a few used no spices but Kummel (caraway spiced liquor).

Thanks Sam. I might try blending onions like you did next time. Steak was so tender and full of flavor.

Quite a few true german recipes saute the onion slices after the marinade and use as a topping. I blend ALOT of stuff so just part of what I do, not sure it's critical.

My buddy told me I should of sauted the onions. I was trying to talk him into try this but he seems to have a problem with it being a German dish and using curry? What ever. I still going to try blending onions next time and bump up the spices a bit.

Germans are _NUTS_ for curry!

On the spice, I used like 4x as much as you. I make other curry stuff and use a LOT, like you can almost not use too much. I think you could also add some before serving. Congrats on the ride!
