Last week I dumped some tea on my laptop keyboard. Not only did I get a new computer but the service was unbeatable.

Now here is where the pay back comes in. Last week I told the electronics guy that I had not gottten my documents and other information off of it. He suggested I bring in my new computer today and he would transfer my files over. The more I thought about it I really didn't want all that clutter on my new system. He was telling me that he uses a Western Digital Passport external drive and doesn't use the back up, just copies the files he wants to the external. That made a lot of sense to me so I bought one and today I just brought the external in. About 2 hours later he called me ans said it was done. Doc, Power Point, pics and Quicken files were saved. I had some legal stuff, a book I have written, and a 30 minute Power Point presentation.

I started thinking about the service I get there and wanted to pay back in some small way. So, when I picked up the hard drive tonight I also picked up this.

I'll be smoking this tonight and bring it to him tomorrow. I'ts the least I can do. My friend said his computer guy would have charged me at least 6o dollars or more to do it.

I hope it brings a smile to his face tomorrow when I deliver it.

I did the same thing awhile ago with my car guy, so maybe this just keeps going and keeps the good karma going.

Thanks for watching, I'll post some updated pics later.

just so ya know, many IT computer techs make 80-100 dollars an hr.I wish I woulda spent more time thinking about it when I was younger and computers where as big as TV's.

My oldest is in college doing the computer tech and web design stuff, and works at a major corp. as an IT intern. I hope he will be a wealthy man soon, maybe he can buy me that new Lang 84 I want!

Thank you Fishawn.

I figuerd that thats why I figuerd a payback was in order, even if a small one.

Actually I did another one today. You know those demonstators at Sam's, well one always take good care of me. She saw my last chicken in the basket and asked me to bring her some wings smoked. I did better than that, I brought her a leg quarter at noon, and when I picked up my hard drive at 6 she raved about that. She always treats me very well. One day she gave me 12 jumbo shrimp with sauce. When others get a tid bit of something she gives me a whole piece.

Anyway here is the bird after 2 hours. I just added some Youshidas Terriyaki marinade for some color.

Thanks for watching.

Ill bet that u get the best service of anyone where ever you go. I may have to start taking some q with me in the truck and bribing the customers that wont let me deliver early and more so for the ones that let me in early on a regular basis. Looks goos as always Ron.

Thanks Smokin365. I try to be courteous and friendly and it usually works.

Here it is all done.

Ready to go find a friend.

Thanks for watching.

I've fixed a lot of friends computers in the past (for free). I never expected anything in return, but I can tell you I would not have turned down some BBQ.

Thanks Dave he did.

You are too kind also Jeanie, thanks.

Yep he was.

With the food at home we never go out to eat anymore. Hard to find anything close to what we eat.

I delivered the bird and he was speechless. He finally said that wasn't necessarry to do. I said what you did wasn't either, enjoy. He said if you EVER need help just let me know.

Another friend I guess.

Thanks for watching,
Ron
