Daughter is having a Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Party and I volunteered to cook the corned beef. I ask her how many corned beefs she wanted, and she told me that she had two vacuumed sealed from the store in the freezer.
She went to check the weight of the two and realized that they were not frozen before the freeze date on the package which was July 3rd, and she put them in the freezer 2 weeks ago.
With it being corned beef I believe it has been brined & cured and then vacuumed pack in the package, so does that help with an extended shelf life?
SO, do I use those two frozen corned beefs or chuck them out and start fresh?
Thanks for any help.
