Hey everyone. I've searched and read a few thing about this subject but wanted to see what you guys/gals think about it....

Does it really make THAT MUCH of a difference if you rub and let sit in the fridge for a day or so than if you just rub it and throw it on the smoker? I ask this because.....I had planned on starting my smoke tomorrow evening for monday. However....it seems that I may be smokin tonight instead. I personally don't think it would make that much of a difference....as I like the flavor of the smoke and pork to shine through anyway. What do yall think?? Thanks in advance!!

I used to rub a day or two ahead of time but now I rub the meat while the cooker is coming up to temp. Can't say I have noticed a difference in flavor.
There are some that will say you need to be careful if you have a lot of salt in your rub since it will pull moisture out of your meat. YMMV, try it both ways and see what works best for you.

We have people who do it both was and I personally only let it set for a couple of hours...

I think it is mainly up to each individual as to what works best for them...
