Glad your doing ok down there looks like some areas are getting hammered
This is going to be another bad one, Jerry. It is crossing a pretty high population density area from Bradenton/Sarasota to Lakeland to Winter Haven to wherever it tracks from there.
My friends that have a place in Winter Haven are still here in the safe north land as well as his mother with a place in Lake Placid.

Our niece & family are about an hour north of Miami. There were tornadoes near, but they are fine and remarkably still have power.

Good to hear Keith
Our place in south Lake County didn’t lose power, but got some high winds
Significant shingle damage above our apartment but our neighbors said no signs of water damage

Mother nature sure has some fury to unleash. Thank goodness the worst of the season is winding down to give some people a well needed break.

Eye went right over us, just got power & internet back. The hurricane was nothing compared to the tornado that took down our oak tree. My security cam caught the whole thing. Best part was the tree fell on my neighbor’s lawn who hates me! Karma!

I believe karma does have a way. Glad you folks are good.

Now, how in the world does your neighbor hate you? You seem like a nice fellow to me! By the way, I still have Gado Gado on my to-do list. It can take me sometimes years to get around to some things!

My parents condo in N Ft. Meyers did not get flooded this time. They had to stay with a friend down there after Ian came through to supervise getting the flood damage fixed. I wish they would sell that place. I have zero interest in it but they are 82 and cannot stand the winter cold. I'm not looking forward to when I have to drive them down there and back. Dad said if it floods bad again he might just abandon it though!
