My wife is supposed to fly into orlando Thursday late afternoon for the spreading of her moms ashes and close her estate. 4 hour drive to kc airport. Wonder if it will be open to commercial fights by then. Wish everyone in the path a safe exit.

Keith leave the trailer and come up we have a spare bedroom. Maybe up the toll road to Crystal River get off on Hwy 44 then it's only 4 or 5 miles to US 19 then north and there are several ways from there.
Al the same goes for you we have two spare bedrooms

Keith if you think you have to pull the trailer my sister and brother in law are in Crystal River and have room to park they have a 110 outlet close enough not an RV plug but would work it has before and water is close as well. Or pull it up here

Thanks Jerry, but I think we will be OK here. We have the shutters up, and a whole house gen, with 500 gallon propane tank. Everything is tied down & no worries for flooding at our elevation. The wait is the worst part.
Thanks for thinking of us!
Al

pineywoods pineywoods ... Thanks for the offer brother... Were gonna stay and see what happens... I'm all boarded up... About 30 gallons of fuel... both vehicles full... I can run most everything but the AC in the house off the generator... If worst comes to worst and the camper survives we can stay in it and have AC ...

When the few stations opened up the day after here they were cash only. Only discovered that after waiting in line for 1 /2 hrs.
We had $21 cash🤭 but it was enough for a can to fuel the generator.
We now keep enough $$ to fill up vehicle and 2 gas cans.

Thoughts and prayers for safety and your also welcome up here !

Keith

for those on the west coast contemplating heading east and South towards Miami.
Noon news showed I-75 (alligator ally) is rectums to elbows headed east. I f you want to go east and south I recommend the less travelled across like SR80. It's going to be ok over here though I'm guessing the hotels off of I-75 will be filling fast

Thanks Laurel ( sumosmoke sumosmoke ) ... Not that there is anything good about it... But it least they are knocking it down to a Cat 1 by the time it goes across the state and exits the east coast over by you (and others) ... Stay safe and be prepaired the best you can..
