After knee surgery I started Glucosamine Chondroitin supplements. Wished I would have thought for you to start them when this thread started.
Ortho Doc doesn't believe in them and he said I would need cushioning shots to relieve my knee pain due to osteoarthritis. Well 10 years later and I haven't had any shots and my knee is fine.
The other knee is a pia after a Baker Cyst rupture. Holy Crap that hurt.
I probably should have had meniscus surgery, but it has mostly self healed. Exercise keeps me moving.

Good deal... better living/comfortability is on the way... The opiode constapation that's coming is gonna suck though... But once you get through that.. It will all be good ...

I had rotator cuff surgery a little over a year ago, along with a torn labrum and (in the doctors words) a shredded bicep. As for you're bicep, listen to what the other members on this thread have advised - they are spot on ( I can't add anymore than what they said). Above all, listen to you're therapists and do not rush it ! Good luck!

So far, so good. Im having very minor discomfort at the moment. Ive only taken the perocet for sleep last cpl nites, just going to try ibuprofen tonite.

Dr said I can do some very basic pt starting Tuesday, sling off, swing arm back and forth and do some twisting w it. Can also take a real shower Tuesday also.

Go back to Dr on 12/3. Ending up having a large triangular bone spur, the cyst in the joint and two tears in the rotator cuff, luckily no bicep repair

I have had rotator cuff surgery twice on the left shoulder. First week after the surgery you wont be able to move your arm. After the second week you may get back some motion, but not much. As others have said, take your time, and do the rehab religiously to regain full range of motion. If you don't regain range of motion you will have problems down the road.

Started pt today, gotta say it feels so much better after today, still a long way to go, but def feels much looser and dont feel like I need to keep my elbow tucked in. The therapist did a liot of stretching with my right arm and although a lil uncomfortable at the moment, it felt better by the time I left.

The therapist gave me 4-5 exercises today so Ill start those at home tomorrow. He also told me to start not tp wear the sling as much and hed like to see me by week 5 not wearing the sling.

Still have some challenges but overall feeling pretty good, now just to be able to sleep on my own bed, thanks for asking

Most mornings here lately, Im usually awake before my wife, so I get up, make coffee (turn the coffee maker on, its already set up), pour two cups of coffee and go to our room and lay in bed with her till she has to get up and go to work.

So morning after PT report, woke up this morn and shoulder was hurting but nothing a few Advil didnt cure. I'll do my exercises here in a bit, have a couple things I need to do first.

Glad your improving , The PT is the critical part , Don't overdo it but make sure you do the required workouts . I go in next week for possible knee replacement . I'm still looking for the total body replacement but it's not available yet .
