Fort Worth, Tx.
We swung by Robinson's (Robinson's BBQ, 1028 E. Berry St. Fort Worth, Tx.) yesterday on our way back from the oncologist in Dallas: Here's their web address:

I'd written earlier about buying their rub at Walmart and how good it was. Well, had to go there and try their ribs.
First, it's not a real fancy place, basically the way it was 25 years ago minus 25 years worth of worn paint. 2 or 3 sit down tables inside, a nice size counter to order from and you can look back into their prep area and see them haul racks of ribs around like matchsticks (they need a bucket on the counter to catch drool, I'll tell ya..!), and a drive-in window with a constant line of cars, even tho it was 2:30 in the afternoon. By going inside, I got to meet Dee, Miss Andrea (you should see her swing a cleaver!), Kevin and Marcel as I ordered the large end 1/2 rack of ribs. Wanted to buy some of their BBQ sauce but they were too busy smokin' and sellin' ribs to have more made up, but they did give me a container of sauce to take home with, no charge! I drove around back of the small building and saw two huge standup smokers sticking out of the back wall - they were rectangular and about 12' high and 12' wide, probably rotating rack pan smokers.
Anyways, I got them home and did a pic of what I got, then cooked up some salt potatoes and some corn and we had a simple but delicious meal! The ribs were real-wood smoked, a great bark on them, tender and juicy with great flavor. Their BBQ sauce was rich but not vinegary or thin, great consistency and you could slather on all ya wanted without overpowering the meat (my wife, usually critical of sauces, loved it!). They beat Coulter's or Cousin's or Tony Roma's hands down. The ribs were unpeeled and untrimmed so you got all the meat they could offer and it was 100% tender and delicious! If you get a chance to stop by their little stand, you'll be totally underimpressed with the building. But the ribs are to die for..! Thanks folks for your great hospitality yesterday!

I apologize, once I figured out that my popup blocker was blocking me from posting pics, I edited the post and added the address plus a shot of the receipt. For $10.28 we had a great meal, cheaper than going to McD's too!
