Here are the BBQ shelves in my garage. I try to stock up when I find cheap charcoal. The bottom shelf is Original Charcoal company Lump charcoal that I bought at Costco last year. It was 2 shrink wrapped 10 lb bags for $3.97, so I filled the shelves up and then some. I have a little bit left over, and whadda ya know, Kingsford is blowout priced at Lowes and Home Depot. I never would have known except for this site, so thank you for bringing the sales to my attention!! I prefer lump, but mix a lot too. Since Lump pops so much in the chimney, now I mostly start a full chimney of briquettes so the popping embers from the lump doesn't catch my hair on fire. The wind here in Kansas can make starting a chimney of lump a dicey proposition.

That should keep ya going for a while!

I'll have to see if I've got a pic of the 106 bags of Rancher I bought back when the local Home Depot was clearing them out for $1.99 a bag and I talked the mgr down to $1 a bag. I bought every bag they had... Sadly, it's all gone now...
