HI to all. I'm learning the art of smoking and would like to try a variety of meats. I just purchased my smoker from Gander Mtn. It's a "Smoke Hollow" electric. I am working out the bugs but I think it's going to be just fine for my "tastes". I did try some trout with Applewood and it was pretty good. I live in Thornton just north of the Mile High city of Denver. The fish is always what I catch in our mountain lakes. I pretty much fish year round from Ice fishing to fishing from a boat. Interesting articles on this site and look forward to reading all the expert advice. By the way, I do love all meats esp. beef. I'm trying to understand the best wood for the types of meats I will be cooking. I'm sure I will work it out. Thanks, Paul (Smoketrout).
